The darkly comic Beauty Queen of Leenane by Martin McDonagh portrays ancient, manipulative Mag and her virginal daughter, Maureen, whose mutual loathing may be more durable than any love.  Mag's interference in Maureen's romantic life sets off a chain of events that lead to a terrifying climax.
